THE MOKA POT
Three parts, one pot. A bottom, a basket and the top. An excellent way to prepare a cup of strong but balanced coffee.

Take a cup of fresh beans and grind them medium. Do not grind it too fine, this will cause over extraction and you will get a bitter, unbalanced cup.
Pour cold water into the bottom part without exceeding the level notches. Put the basket on top of it and fill in with coffee. Top of the basket with your finger without compressing the coffee.
Screw strongly the top part on the bottom part and put the pot on the stove. When the water starts to boil, you will see coffee come out of the top part.
The moment steam is coming out, take the pot of the stove to prevent an over extraction. Enjoy this Italian way of coffee drinking!
