Syphon
SYPHON
The Syphon coffee maker was invented in the 1840s by a French housewife. It produces a delicate cup of coffee.
In our opinion it is one of the coolest methods of brewing at the moment.

Start by soaking your filter in a bath of warm water for 5 minutes. Then place it into the bottom of your Syphon's hopper and hook the end to the bottom of the glass tubing.
Fill the bottom component or "bulb" with 300ml of hot water. Assemble the hopper and filter into the bulb and put the Syphon above your heat source.
While the water is heating, measure out 20-25 grams of fresh coffee and grind it medium.
When the water in the bulb starts to boil and rise into the hopper, you will have to turn down the heat source.
Add your coffee and gently submerge and stir. Let it brew for 70 seconds. Remove your Syphon from the heat source.
Your coffee will slowly draw downward into the bulb. Put the Syphon on your table, let the coffee cool down a little and enjoy those moments of pleasure.
